Maserati will be in the spotlight at Goodwood Revival 2026 this weekend, as motoring fans assemble at the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit for one of the world’s most revered motorsport gatherings.

To provide a fitting setting for Maserati’s Trident centenary year, the marque will present a group of landmark heritage cars from the celebrated Panini Collection. Supported and presented by Maserati Classiche, the display will bring together a century of racing tradition and automotive excellence at one of Europe’s most atmospheric race meetings.

This year, Goodwood Revival takes on a ‘La Dolce Vita’ theme, paying tribute to Italian culture, romance and motorsport from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. The Turning Circle, the central focal point of the Goodwood Motor Circuit, will be transformed throughout the weekend in homage to Italian style and heritage.

Reflecting that La Dolce Vita focus, the 2026 Revival race schedule has been reworked to deliver maximum racing action, including the ‘Battle of Modena’. Friday will feature more racing than ever before, while Sunday will see the return of The RAC TT Celebration, the most prestigious contest on Goodwood’s annual calendar.

The Italian theme makes Goodwood Revival an especially appropriate venue for Maserati’s continuing 100 Years of the Trident celebrations. As the oldest automotive brand in Italy’s famed Motor Valley, Maserati continues to celebrate a century shaped by innovation, craftsmanship and unmistakable Italian character.

These centenary celebrations specifically honour a pivotal moment in Maserati’s history: the class win achieved by the Tipo 26 at the 1926 Targa Florio. That result marked the Trident’s first major triumph on the track and a milestone that laid the groundwork for a century of success, establishing Maserati as one of motorsport’s most celebrated names.

Across the Revival weekend, visitors will have the chance to see some of the most iconic cars in Maserati’s history. Positioned prominently around the Goodwood Motor Circuit, the Berlinetta A6GCS-53, Tipo 420M/58 “Eldorado” and Tipo 61 “Birdcage” each represent defining chapters in the marque’s long and distinguished story.

Maserati Berlinetta A6GCS-53

First revealed at the 1954 Turin Motor Show, the Berlinetta A6GCS-53 is widely considered one of the most beautiful Maseratis ever made. It paired elegant Pininfarina bodywork with the proven racing pedigree of the A6GCS-53 sports car. Just four examples were ever built, making it exceptionally rare, and it also stands as the last Pininfarina-designed Maserati for more than 50 years.

Maserati Tipo 420M/58

The Tipo 420M/58, better known as the Eldorado, made history as the first single-seat racing car in Europe to wear the livery of a commercial sponsor. It was commissioned in 1958 for the famous Race of Two Worlds at Monza, and with its powerful V8 engine and speeds exceeding 217mph, it remains one of the most innovative and instantly recognisable Maseratis ever created.

Maserati Tipo 61

The Maserati Tipo 61 “Birdcage” is regarded as one of the most innovative racing cars of its time, thanks to its revolutionary lightweight spaceframe chassis constructed from 200 small steel tubes. Blending groundbreaking engineering with remarkable agility and race-winning success, the Tipo 61 became a lasting symbol of Maserati’s motorsport heritage and technical ingenuity.
