- Somnath: Somnath is situated on the sea shore in Kathiawar region of Gujarat. Somnath Jyotirlinga is also considered the first Jyotirlinga of the Earth. It is believed that this Shivling was founded by Chandradev himself. Chandrama is also called Somdev, which is why this Jyotirlinga was named Somnath.
- Mallikarjuna: This temple on the banks of the Krishna River in Andhra Pradesh is considered as Kailash on the banks of the Krishna River. The philosophy of this Jyotirlinga fulfills all the wishes and gets rid of all sins. By visiting this place, seeing this place is erased.
- Mahakaleshwar: Jyotirlinga is on the banks of river Kshipra in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is the only Dakshinamukhi Jyotirlinga. The Bhasmarti here is world famous. People believe that they are protecting Ujjain.

A river named Bhima flows from this temple, which is why it is named Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga as well as Shivalinga is very thick, hence it is also known as Moteshwar Mahadev. Darshan of this temple removes the sins of seven births.
- Vishwanath: This Shivling is located in Kashi. It is said that except the Himalayas, Lord Shiva made a permanent residence here. It has been said that the Holocaust period does not affect this city, so Kashi has been said to be very important in all religious places.
- Tryambakeshwar: This Jyotirlinga is located 30 km west of Nashik in Maharashtra near the Godavari river. The Trimbakeshwar temple situated on the banks of the Godavari river is made of black stones. The closest to this Jyotirlinga is a mountain named Brahmagiri. The Godavari river starts with this mountain. One name of Lord Shiva is also Trimbakeshwar.
- Baijnath: This is a Shivling in a district called Dumka of Santhal Pargana of Bihar. It is said that Ravana was taking Shiva to Lanka with the help of tenacity, but due to the disruption in the way, Shiva ji was established here as per the condition.
- Rameshwar: This Jyotirlinga is located in a place called Ramnath Puran in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is said that Lord Rama established the Shivling before climbing Lanka. Due to being established by Lord Rama, this Jyotirlinga has been given the name Rameswaram of Lord Rama.
- Nageshwar: This Jyotiling is located 17 miles from Dwarkapuri in Gujarat. It is said that this Jyotiling has been named as per God. It is said that all the wishes of the person who come here for darshan with full devotion and faith are fulfilled.
- Gratneshwar: This Jyotirlinga was established in Berul village, 12 miles from Daulatabad in the state of Maharashtra. It is also known as Gharsaneshwar. People from far and wide come here to visit and get spiritual peace.
