The Scissors Dham Temple Trust has taken a big step to help the disaster victims in Uttarakhand. The trust has given financial assistance of Rs 2.5 crore in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has described this contribution of the trust as a major service to humanity.


On the auspicious occasion of Gurpurnima, the Scissor Dham Temple Trust gave assistance of Rs 2.5 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the disaster victims of Uttarakhand. The check was handed over to Nainital Chief Development Officer Anamika on behalf of the trust. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami appreciated the trust of the trust and said that the role of the trust in the field of education and health is commendable.


He said that in view of the increasing number of pilgrims coming to Catchy Dham, the construction of scissors bypass will be speeded up soon. For this, theoretical approval has been received from the Union Ministry of Forest and Environment. The Chief Minister also said that the traffic jam between Kachchi Dham and Bhawali will soon provide relief, and better facilities will be provided to the devotees.


Omprakash Bindra, president of the Consciousness Temple Trust, said that our trust has been continuously contributing to education, health and disaster management. This year, the number of scholarships being given to 3000 children has been increased to 5000. The trust also thanked the Chief Minister and District Administration for successful completion of the Catchy Dham Foundation Day held on 15 June.
