Indian women’s team off -spinner Shreyanka Patil and fast bowler Titus Sadhu were included in the India A team for the tour of Australia on Thursday. Shremaka and Sadhus are returning to recover from injury. The Indian team will play three T20s, three ODIs and a four -day match on Australia tour. The series will be played from 7 to 24 August.
Shreyanka out of T20 World Cup
Shreyana has been out of the ground since the Women’s T20 World Cup held in UAE last year. She has been selected by defending champions Barbados Royals to play her in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) in September. The monks could not play in the tri -series in Sri Lanka and were not even in the team for England’s current limited overs tour in April due to injury.
Shreyanka’s participation in the series against Australia will depend on the approval of the BCCI Center of Excellence, while the monk is approved. Left -arm spinner Radha Yadav will take over the team in T20, ODI and four -day matches. Opener Shefali Verma has also been included in all teams. The England tour of this aggressive opener has been very disappointing as he has scored only 101 runs in four matches so far and his highest score has been 47 runs.
