Geetanjali said in her complaint that when she went to meet her husband in Jodhpur, Rajasthan Police and IB followed her. The authorities were keeping her under close surveillance during her travel and meeting with her husband. He claimed that he was being monitored since his press conference in Delhi in September. No matter where they go, officials follow them, thereby violating their privacy.
Geetanjali told that on October 7 and 11, when she reached Jodhpur airport to meet her husband, the police took her straight into the vehicle.
Geetanjali says that this police surveillance is a violation of her constitutional rights. As a citizen, she has every right to meet her husband and go to Jodhpur without any restriction.
Geetanjali has demanded the Supreme Court to immediately stop this surveillance and protect her rights. The next hearing date of the case is awaited. Meanwhile, no official statement has come from the government and police yet.
