Weak Hero Class is by far one of the best K-dramas that have come out in the last few years, showing the intense and raw depiction of bullying in schools, using strategic ways to survive, and the bonds of friendship that cannot be broken through the eyes of the brilliant. Season 3 is anticipated to raise the stakes even higher, provide deeper and darker story arcs concerning new criminal organizations such as the Cheongang gang; it will create emotional moments for the characters through their emotional growth after the intense finale from Season 2, and showcase another round of impressive takedowns because of the way the second season ended explosively, along with the additional scene during the end credits in 2025. Park Ji-hoon leads the way, and this show continues to be exciting with its combination of brainy action alongside heartwarming loyal support.

Currently, there has been no official confirmation or announcements by either Netflix or the production company about Weak Hero Class 3’s potential return. In the previous years of Weak Hero’s franchise, Weak Hero Class 1 was released in November 2022 on the Wavve platform. In April of 2025, the second season (Weak Hero Class 2) became available globally via Netflix.

As of right now, there is no confirmation of a third season’s renewal, nor shave cheduling dates for production or filming been announced.

The second season of the show finished resolving many of the high school major conflicts present in the webtoon direction and ended with open-ended narrative threads.

It is ecpected that most of the primary arcs in the original webtoon have been adapted. Any potential continuation will likely include new or expanded material that has not been developed from the source.

There will be a deeper development and focus on the antagonist of the series (Choi Chang-hee) and the Cheongang gang, moving toward organized crime from issues that are character-driven, primarily in a very physical world. Depending on which direction the story takes, Ahn Su-ho could have either a more or less defined character arc during the series.

If things go this direction, Si-eun will have faced more than just the school district she was raised in. This type of arc would have a different tonal quality than both of the first two seasons and would provide closure to the high school story. However, this is only speculation and has not been officially confirmed.
