Vrindavan Fire Brokeout: News of a major accident has come to light from Vrindavan in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. A massive fire suddenly broke out during the inauguration ceremony in the newly constructed ‘hotel Siddhi Vinayak’ in Rukmani Vihar area. A large number of guests and relatives were present in the hotel at the time of the incident. Initial suspicion is that around 30 people were trapped in different parts.

As soon as information about the fire was received, many vehicles of local administration, police and fire department reached the spot and relief operation was started.

There was chaos during the opening ceremony

It is being told that the inauguration ceremony of the hotel was going on, when suddenly smoke was seen rising. Within no time the fire engulfed the upper floors. People participating in the program started running here and there to save their lives, due to which an atmosphere of chaos was created.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire probably occurred due to short circuit, although this has not been officially confirmed yet. During the incident, many people were trapped on the roof of the hotel, who were brought down safely with the help of a crane. In the video surfaced on social media, relief teams can be seen rescuing people.

Three people burnt, admitted to hospital

Two children and a woman got burnt in this accident. The injured were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital, where their treatment is ongoing. According to doctors, everyone’s condition is said to be stable at present, but they have been kept under observation as a precautionary measure.

The administration said that all the trapped people have been taken out safely and the hotel building has been evacuated.

The crowd increased due to the presence of relatives

A relative of the hotel owner said that many family and acquaintances were invited to the inauguration. For this reason the hotel was more crowded than usual. After the fire, the situation seemed to be out of control for some time, but a major accident was averted due to the prompt action of the fire brigade.

The administration has ordered an investigation into the cause of the fire. It will also be investigated whether fire safety standards were followed or not. Local officials have said that if any kind of negligence is found, strict action will be taken.
