Lucknow. A major step has been taken towards reducing the increasing traffic pressure and strengthening the infrastructure in the capital Lucknow. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has approved the ambitious plan to construct a four-lane road with a new tie from IIM Road to Raitha.

Along with this, a plan to install modern street lights on the roads from Nadarganj Industrial Area to Amausi Overbridge has also been approved. A total of around Rs 56.5 crore will be spent on both the projects.

Four lane road will be built from IIM Road to Raitha

After the approval of LDA, about two kilometer long four lane road will be built from IIM Road to Raitha Road via Naimish Nagar. This project is estimated to cost approximately Rs 53.97 crore. This road will also be connected to Kisan Path, which will create a better traffic network in the area. At present, there is often heavy traffic jam on Sitapur Road, IIM Road and surrounding areas. With the construction of the new road, the traffic pressure on these routes will be reduced and people will be able to get an alternative route.

Will get relief from traffic jam

The number of vehicles in Lucknow is continuously increasing, due to which the problem of jam on major routes has become common. After the completion of the new four-lane road, passengers will get the benefit of fast and easy travel.
