New Delhi. A very good news has emerged for the farmers of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. During an event organized in Guwahati, Assam, the Prime Minister transferred an amount of ₹2000 directly into the bank accounts of crores of farmers. More than 9 crore farmers of the country have benefited from this installment, which is expected to strengthen the rural economy.

Crores of farmers got direct benefits

About 9.32 crore farmers have benefited from this installment released by the government. The special thing is that a large number of them are women farmers also. According to data, more than 2.15 crore women farmers have also received funds under this scheme. The objective of the government is to strengthen the farming and livelihood of the farmers by providing them financial assistance.

You get Rs 6000 per year

Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given every year to eligible farmer families. This amount is given in three equal installments, in which Rs 2,000 in each installment is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers. This entire process is done through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, which maintains transparency and the money reaches the beneficiaries directly.

A huge amount has been distributed so far

With the release of this new installment, the total amount of assistance given to farmers so far under the scheme has exceeded Rs 4.27 lakh crore. It is clear from this that the government is making continuous efforts to increase the income of farmers and improve their economic condition.

Strict system for transparency

The government has also ensured that the benefits of the scheme reach only eligible farmers. For this, a strong verification system has been implemented. Besides, special facilities have also been given to those farmers who want to voluntarily give up their eligibility.
