IPL 2026 Captains Meet: IPL 2026 is set to begin on March 28th, with the Royal Challengers Bangalore facing Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first match. Prior to that, the captains of all 10 teams gathered in Mumbai on Wednesday. All 10 captains had arrived in Mumbai to attend the BCCI meeting. Meanwhile, photos of all 10 captains, including Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and Riyan Parag, have created a stir on social media.

Rishabh Pant was seen in the new jersey of the Lucknow Super Giants, which features red and blue stripes. This was also a historic moment for the Indian Premier League, as for the first time in its 19-year history, no foreign captain was present at the captains' meeting. Sunrisers Hyderabad's regular captain is Pat Cummins, but due to his injury, Ishan Kishan was appointed interim captain.
