RCB vs SRH: A shocking news has come out from Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru, where an incident of mobile phone theft has come to light during the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chinnaswamy Stadium. While investigating this case, the police has busted a gang. In this action, five people including four minors have been detained and so far 21 mobile phones have been recovered.
According to media reports, this gang was not limited to just the stadium. Incidents of theft were also reported at MG Road metro station, stadium entrance and nearby crowded places. Many people realized that their phones were missing only when they reached home or returned from the match. A total of 29 cases have been registered in this matter so far.
According to Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh, preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused are part of a big gang operating from outside Karnataka. These people had come from other states specifically with the intention of committing theft during the match and were staying in a hotel in the city to plan their plan.
According to media reports, the police crime squad conducted a campaign for two consecutive nights to catch this gang. According to Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh, some accused are still absconding, but they have been identified and all of them will be arrested soon. At present the police is investigating this entire matter in depth.
