Chelsea have booked themselves a date at Wembley later this month after thumping Port Vale 7-0 in their FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday evening.

The Blues are in the hat for the last four of the competition after a comfortable victory on Saturday evening. Jorrel Hato got the hosts off to the perfect start with just over a minute on the clock, striking the ball into the back of the net after Pedro Neto's corner caused mayhem for the Port Vale goalkeeper and defenders.

Joao Pedro made it two 25 minutes in. Neto was involved once again, showing his strength to make a bit of space for himself before crossing it to Chelsea's No.20, who swivelled and struck into the bottom corner. An own goal from Jordan Laurence-Gabriel made it three for the hosts just before the half-time break and effectively booked their place at Wembley.

Tosin Adarabioyo headed in Chelsea's fourth goal of the evening in the second half after a beautiful cross from Malo Gusto. Andrey Santos' header made it five for the Blues and Estevao Willian made it six after a lengthy VAR check for offside. Alejandro Garnacho scored from the penalty spot in stoppage time to make it 7-0.

Below, Bobby Vincent rates the Chelsea players based on their performance:

Robert Sanchez - Had virtually nothing to do. 6

Malo Gusto - The Frenchman does really well for the third goal of the evening. His clever flick got the move going before his shot was saved and fell to Palmer. A fantastic cross to set up Tosin's goal. A great evening for Gusto. 8

Wesley Fofana - Did fine. Was not tested too much defensively but passed it well from the back. Better than recent performances, albeit against weaker opposition. 6

Tosin Adarabioyo - Tosin won a lot of headers, as he usually does. He's quite frustrating to watch at times with the ball at his feet, taking too long, but perhaps that is the instruction. A great header into the bottom corner for Chelsea's fourth of the tie. 7

Jorrel Hato - A great moment for him very early on to score a rare goal. The Dutchman is growing in confidence all the time. Ever since Liam Rosenior came in, he has been one of Chelsea's most consistent performers. 8

Andrey Santos - Passed it well in the middle. Battled well, too, for the second ball. Should have had an assist for Estevao Willian at the start of the second half. It was great to see him grab his second goal for the club in the second half with a relatively straightforward header. 7

Romeo Lavia - Played a sloppy pass 20 minutes in and then fouled Rhys Walters - lucky to not be shown a yellow card. Improved as the game went on. Great for him to record some more minutes. 6

Pedro Neto - A fine corner that caused chaos in the Port Vale box, leading to the opening goal of the tie. Neto does really well for the second goal, too, crossing to Joao Pedro, who did the rest from close range. 8

Cole Palmer - The captain for the evening and he was back in the No.10 role. Early on, a lot of Chelsea's positive play was going through Palmer. Played his part in the third goal but unfortunately his strike was going wide and it went down as an OG. 7

Estevao Willian - Started on the left-hand side but switched flanks in the second half. Every time he got the ball, he was swarmed by Port Vale bodies. He switched to the right for the second period and was much, much better. Got his deserved goal late on. 8

Joao Pedro - Pinned himself well against the Port Vale central defenders and made his physical attributes known. The Brazilian does really well for his goal 25 minutes in, taking a great touch before turning and finishing clinically for his 19th goal of the season. 7

Liam Delap (on for Joao Pedro 61') - Struggled to get too involved unfortunately. 5

Dario Essugo (on for Palmer 61') - It looked as if he was a direct replacement for Palmer, playing in the No.10 - something you wouldn't necessarily expect. Looked bright in there. 7

Alejandro Garnacho (on for Neto 61') - Misses a good chance with one of his first touches. He did well to win the penalty and converted it calmly. Impactful. 7

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen (on for Lavia 78') - Great to see him make his senior debut. N/A

Josh Acheampong (on for Gusto 84') - Surpised not to see him start a game like this. N/A
