Peter Phillips is set to wed his fiancée Harriet Sperling in Cirencester on June 6 this year. With details set to follow, the couple remain tight-lipped about their potential guests.
As well as Peter's two daughters and Harriet's only daughter, the Royal Family will likely be present to mark the joyous occasion for the rarely-seen royal and his soon-to-be wife. As well as the typical royals who will likely make the guest list, speculation will heighten over whether Prince Harry will fly from his home in Montecito to the UK to attend the nuptials.
But I think Harry should undoubtedly join his family to welcome the latest member into the family, but should opt to show up solo.
The Duke of Sussex has made many visits to the UK on his own since stepping down from royal life in 2020, so this trip could be no different.
Meghan typically opts to remain in California with their children, so if an invitation is extended to Harry, he should make the effort to show up for his cousin.
We ultimately don't know how close Harry is with Peter, but the former working royal's bond with Zara Tindall shows that the pair could have been close growing up.
Although an appearance would likely not go down well with Prince William, it could see Harry reunited with the likes of Peter, Zara and, most importantly, his father, in a more private setting.
The private event will be another opportunity for Harry to come together with his family - with the pressure taken off by the happy nature of the event.
Meghan, however, should show up for the Invictus Games event this year - if, of course, security measures allow for the family's safety to be guaranteed.
Although it would be lovely for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to be reunited with their relatives in June, eyes should be on the newly-weds for their very special day.
