Bengaluru: There have been shocking revelations about Balamurugan, the husband who publicly shot and killed his bank employee wife. Police have found that he had taken training at a shooting academy in Whitefield, Bengaluru to carry out the murder. This information has been given in the charge sheet that Magadi Road Police has recently completed the investigation and filed in the court. In the charge sheet, the police has clearly stated that the accused Balamurugan had taken shooting training only with the intention of killing his wife.

Balamurugan and other accused Maulish Kumar, Periyaswamy, Rahul, Hari and Surya had conspired while sitting in a lodge of Majestic. It was here that the plan to murder Bhuvaneshwari was made and the place was decided. For this, Balamurugan went to Bihar and bought two pistols for Rs 80,000. To avoid suspicion, he gave a pistol to his companion, who took him to Tamil Nadu. This has also come to light in the investigation.

Balamurugan had murdered his 39-year-old wife Bhuvaneshwari on December 23, 2025. In this case, the police had arrested her husband Selva Balamurugan, a resident of Tamil Nadu, and his associates Abhimanyu Singh, Maulesh Kumar and Periyaswami. Meanwhile, Rahul, Harish and Surya are still absconding. A 495-page charge sheet has been filed against all the accused in the 24th ACMM Court. This murder took place near Magdi. The reason for the murder was to send a divorce notice to his wife. He took this dreadful step just a week after receiving the divorce notice. 39 year old Bhuvaneshwari was living separately from her husband for a long time and after this she had asked for divorce. Both of them were married in 2011 and have two children.
