Brand new episodes of a '10/10 masterclass' series have been quietly dropped to the delight of fans and are available to stream right now.
Two further instalments of Jury Duty Presents Company Retreat have just arrived on Prime Video with remarkably little publicity.
What's more, there is now an entirely fresh way to enjoy the season, giving viewers yet another reason to binge through it all over again.
The debut season of Jury Duty first launched back in 2023, boasting a distinctive premise. It promised to give audiences a genuine insight into what it feels like to serve on a jury during a trial in the US.
This encompassed everything from the juror selection process right through to deliberations on the case they were hearing.
There was, however, a significant twist - the case was entirely fabricated and every participant was a professional actor, bar one unsuspecting individual.
It was warmly embraced by both critics and audiences upon its release, and has recently made a comeback with a new season subtitled Company Retreat.
On this occasion, the series centres on employees of a small, family-owned hot sauce business as they attend their annual retreat during a pivotal moment in the company's future, reports the Mirror.
Much like its predecessor, however, the business is entirely fictitious. Every member of staff and all those connected with the retreat are actors - except for one man named Anthony, who genuinely believes he has been taken on as a temporary assistant to help oversee the smooth running of the retreat.
Company Retreat boasts an impressive 88% rating on website Rotten Tomatoes, managing to beat the first season's score with fans calling it a "10/10 masterclass in comedy series."
Another added: "Addictive right from the very start, its the perfect blend of sitcom and reality TV." While someone else said: "The only sort of reality tv worth watching, Super wholesome!"
Just over a week since the finale landed on Prime Video, two additional instalments have quietly been made available on the platform. Viewers can now stream a two-part special entitled Jury Duty Presents: Behind the Scenes of Company Retreat.
As the title suggests, it offers a distinctive glimpse into the making of the series. This encompasses previously unseen footage that didn't survive the final edit.
Furthermore, picking up six months on from the big reveal, Anthony meets the hero from the first season Ronald Gladden so the pair can discuss each of their experiences making the show.
James Marsden, who featured prominently in the first season, also makes his return in the new episodes, bringing about a cast reunion as they witness the climactic moment from the finale together for the very first time. Newly edited versions of every episode from series two have also been included, each featuring additional audio commentary from the cast and crew sharing behind-the-scenes secrets.
For those who haven't yet viewed it themselves and remain unaware of what they're missing, one critique described it as "one of the funniest shows in the last decade" while another declared "Jury Duty is an often hilarious, entirely binge worthy experiment....the verdict is nothing short of glorious."
