On Tuesday, the makers of Prashanth Neel’s upcoming movie with Jr NTR in the lead role announced that the movie is now slated for a June 11, 2027, release. The movie is being referred to as NTRNeel for now.

Originally slated for a June 25 release this year, it looks like the NTR’s film with Neel has been postponed and will now be releasing on June 11 next year. In addition, the announcement also revealed that the first glimpse of the film will be out on May 20.

The makers made a post on X and wrote, “When the storm finds its purpose… #NTRNeel worldwide in cinemas on June 11, 2027. First glimpse out on May 20th. MAN OF MASSES.” NTR also posted, "HIS REIGN… HIS SOIL…JUNE 11, 2027… IT IS…. #NTRNeel.” Along with this, a poster was also unveiled with the new release date that caught everyone’s attention.

Interestingly, only a couple of days ago, the actor had shared a photo on Instagram, which left his fans pretty excited as he was seen flaunting his chiselled back while at the gym. The caption read, “Built. Not bought. #NTRNeel @kumarmannava @ntrneelfilm.”

As one would expect, the movie has obviously left fans and the audience at large quite intrigued ever since the movie was first announced. In addition, reports doing the rounds also suggest that the movie will also star Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Biju Menon.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR first joined the film’s sets on April 22 last year, and the movie, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts, is likely to be a big cinematic spectacle, one that’s never been seen before.

For the unversed, Prashanth Neel is also the man behind the now widely successful KGF franchise, and with Jr NTR’s one-of-a-kind screen presence, NTRNeel is likely to take action cinema to new heights. The movie is going to be a full on high-ocation action film, with a compelling storyline, grand visuals, and is already becoming one of the most anticipated films of recent times.
