Arijit, who announced his retirement from playback singing some time back, has taken a new career route, and it seems like Shora has managed to cross paths with his new venture, too. As per reports, the movie is already on floors, and Shora is currently in the middle of its shoot. This comes after Nawazuddin revealed in the past about Shora's passion for acting. He also shared how Shora was critical of his work and would not give him any leverage about being mediocre.

Shora Siddiqui is the eldest daughter of and his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui. She is a 16-year-old teenager and mostly stays away from the public eye, unlike other star kids. However, of late, she started gaining attention after netizens got curious about her life and possible future in films. Nawazuddin has, across his interviews, called Shora a confident and outspoken girl. He even stated that she independently enrolled herself in a performing arts course, and recalled how she approached her teacher with determination, saying she wanted to learn acting.
In Zoom Spotlight Sessions' latest episode, Nawaz revealed that while Shora has watched only a few movies from his filmography, she openly criticises his dancing skills and even discourages him from dancing. He jokingly said that her comments affected his confidence.
“Meri beti ne meri zyada filmein dekhi nahi hai. Ek-do dekhi hogi. Gangs bhi chupke se dekhi hogi. Mere dance ke upar criticise karti hai. Voh bolti hai, dance mat kiya karo. Confidence khatam kar diya,” he quipped.
