ITV viewers searching for their next binge-worthy series have a 'must-watch' programme to look forward to this Friday evening.
Bradley Walsh and his son Barney are hitting the road once again for the seventh series of Breaking Dad. In the latest run, the Chase legend, 65, and son Barney, 28, head down under for a spectacular Australian adventure in the much-loved ITV show.
Across the brand new six-part series, the father and son pair will discover the vast wilderness and coastal excitement of Australia and, true to form, Bradley will be getting anything but the rest and relaxation he has been longing for.
Barney has put together a packed itinerary bursting with adrenaline-fuelled escapades, all meticulously designed to test his father to his limits across the Australian outback and beyond.
In an early preview clip, the beloved duo are spotted at Manly Beach, an enormously popular surfing destination on Sydney's northern beaches, renowned for its breathtaking golden sands. However, Barney wastes little time in using the occasion to wind his dad up in hilarious fashion.
Meanwhile, the opening episode sees the duo arrive in the iconic city of Sydney, where they take in the sights of the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House before enduring a hair-raising aerobatic flight that clearly takes its toll on Brad.
The day concludes on a far more pleasant note, however, as Bradley arranges an exclusive and memorable dinner. Later in the episode, the pair venture out of the city to the breathtaking Blue Mountains, renowned for its stunning vistas, yet once again Brad's fear of heights is pushed to its limits when they embark on a ride aboard what proves to be a rather extreme cable car.
Breaking Dad first burst onto screens in 2019 and the series has garnered glowing reviews ever since. One fan wrote: "Absolutely love this show.
"The father and son relationship is great. Bradley's sense of humor is fantastic and makes you laugh out loud. A must watch especially if you are a fan of Bradley Walsh."
A different account put: "Absolutely loved both series, they're just visiting places and doing stuff and being happy together. Add in the odd ukulele singalong this is real feel good stuff. Pretty sure I just smile all the way through."
Another fan wrote: "The great father and son relationship. Lots of funnies along the way. If you are a Bradley Walsh fan its a must watch" while a further viewer added: "A thoroughly nice series."
