HPBOSE 12th Result 2026 Declared: Major news has emerged for thousands of students across Himachal Pradesh. The long wait has finally ended for students who have been eagerly awaiting their Class 12 results. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) announced the Class 12 examination results on May 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM. All students who appeared for this examination can now easily check their results on the Board's official website, hpbose.org. 

The results released by the Board also include the overall pass percentage for this year. This year, out of a total of 81,109 students, 74,637 were successful. The Board recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.20%, which is higher than that of the previous year. Meanwhile, 3,071 students have been placed in the compartment category.

**Results Accessible via Roll Number Only**

Students will require their roll numbers to view their results. It is not possible to access the scorecard without a roll number. Therefore, students are advised to keep their admit cards ready in advance.

**Check Results via SMS**

If internet access is unavailable, students can also check their results via SMS. To do this, open the messaging app on your mobile phone, type "HP12" followed by your roll number, and send it to 5676750. You will receive your result on your mobile phone shortly thereafter.

**Performance in Previous Years**

Looking at the performance in previous years, 83% of students passed in 2025. In comparison, the pass percentage stood at 73.76% in 2024. Fluctuations in results are observed every year.

**Rechecking Option**

Students who are not satisfied with their marks may apply for re-evaluation or rechecking. To do so, they must follow the procedure prescribed by the Board.

**When was the examination held?**

The Class 12 examination was conducted by the Board from March 3 to April 1, 2026. The examination was held in a single shift, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Students were also allotted an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper.
