Online applications for the Integrated 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2026, conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), commence today. Candidates who have completed their graduation and aspire to become government officers can participate in this recruitment drive by completing the online application process at bpsconline.bihar.gov.in. **Check Post-wise Eligibility Before Filling Out the Form**

Child Development Project Officer: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required. Additionally, the candidate must select one of the following subjects as an optional subject for the Main Examination: (1) Home Science, (2) Psychology, (3) Sociology, or (4) Labour and Social Welfare.

Financial Administrative Officer and Equivalent: It is mandatory to possess a Bachelor's degree in one of the following subjects—Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics—from a recognized university or an institute affiliated with it.



Sub-Divisional Protection Officer: A Bachelor's degree in either Psychology or Law from a recognized university is required. Furthermore, the candidate must select one of these two subjects—(1) Psychology or (2) Law—as an optional subject for the Main Examination.



Age Limit: Depending on the specific post, the minimum age for candidates is prescribed as 20, 21, or 22 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 37, 40, or 42 years, depending on the category. The calculation of age shall be based on the reference date of August 1, 2026.

**How ​​to Fill Out the Application Form**

To fill out the BPSC 72 Online Form 2026, first visit the official website: bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.



On the new portal, click on the 'Online Registration' link, enter the requested details, and complete the registration process.



Once registered, candidates should proceed to fill in the remaining details to complete their application.



Finally, after depositing the prescribed fee, take a printout of the filled application form and keep it safe for future reference.



**Application Fee**

Along with filling out the application form, candidates are required to pay a separate fee of ₹100 for each specific post/position they apply for. If applying solely for the BPSC 72nd Examination (without applying for specific posts), a one-time fee of ₹100 is applicable. The fee can be paid online.
