Sachin Tendulkar Praised Krunal Pandya: In the final of IPL 2026, the bowlers of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) broke the back of the batting of Gujarat Titans (GT). After the dismissal of Shubhman Gill and Sai Sudarshan in the powerplay, Gujarat's hopes rested on their most experienced batsman Jos Buttler. Butler always proves to be dangerous in big matches, but in this great match, RCB's star all-rounder Krunal Pandya bowled such a magical ball which not only baffled Butler but also forced Sachin Tendulkar, who is called the God of Cricket, to praise him.

Krunal out-shined Butler

Krunal Pandya bowled very tightly on this big stage of the final. He spent only 23 runs in his quota of 4 overs and took the wicket of Gujarat's biggest match-winner Jos Buttler. Jos Buttler was set at the crease in front of Krunal Pandya, who brought the 13th over of Gujarat's innings. But on the very first ball of the over, Butler stepped forward to play a big shot and Krunal won with his cleverness.

In fact, as soon as Krunal Pandya saw Buttler coming out of the crease, he cleverly increased the speed of the ball and bowled it on a wide yorker length. Buttler tried to reach the ball at the last moment and cut it, but the ball dodged his bat and went straight to the wicketkeeper. Jitesh Sharma did not make any mistake behind the wicket and stumped Butler.

Sachin Tendulkar praised him fiercely

Even the legendary Sachin Tendulkar could not stop himself from praising Krunal Pandya's cricketing acumen and precise line-length. Praising Krunal's bowling on the social media platform X (earlier Twitter), he wrote, 'What a wonderful ball bowled by Krunal Pandya! He closely watched the movement of the batsman's feet till the last second of releasing the ball and then bowled a perfect ball to send him back to the dressing room.

This wicket has pushed Gujarat Titans on the back foot and Gujarat team could score only 155 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. During this, Washington Sundar scored unbeaten 50 runs. Apart from him, no batsman could cross the 20-run mark.
