Ahmedabad . Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) performed brilliantly and won the title of the 19th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Won. Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Gujarat Titans (GT) by 5 wickets in the final held at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on 31 May (Sunday). While RCB, under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, has become IPL champion for the second consecutive time, Gujarat Titans’ dream of winning the title for the second time was shattered.
After the title match in IPL 2026, an awards ceremony was organized, in which champion RCB and runner-up Gujarat Titans were showered with money. Along with this, awards were given to the players who performed better in the tournament. The winning team Royal Challengers Bangalore got a bumper prize money of Rs 20 crore. While the runner-up Gujarat Titans got Rs 12.50 crore.
