New Delhi: Google has introduced a new feature called “Search Profiles” aimed at helping creators and publishers improve their visibility across Google Search and Discover.
The feature allows eligible users to create a dedicated public profile showcasing their articles, videos, social media accounts, websites and other digital content in one place.
Search Profiles function like a digital identity card across Google platforms. The feature is designed to help audiences discover creators more easily while giving publishers a centralized space to display their work.

The profiles may appear in Google Search results, Google Discover feeds, Knowledge Panels and through direct profile URLs.
Currently, Search Profiles are available only to eligible users in the United States.
To qualify, creators must meet specific follower requirements, including:
Users must also be at least 18 years old.
Eligible users can create their profile by visiting Google’s profile claim page and signing in with their Google account. The setup process includes linking social media accounts, adding a profile image, bio, website links and highlighting featured content.

Google also said users can check whether a profile has already been auto-generated by searching their name on Google or visiting the profile portal.
Google stated that Search Profiles will also integrate with existing Knowledge Panels, allowing creators to display updated information, recent content and social links directly in search results.
The company is expected to expand the feature to more countries in the coming months as competition for online visibility continues to grow among digital creators and publishers.
