New Delhi . Indian chess’s young star and Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa has added a new chapter in the country’s sports history by winning the Norway Chess 2026 title. At the age of just 20, he performed brilliantly in this competition, one of the most prestigious chess tournaments in the world, and achieved the honor of becoming the first Indian player to win the Norway Chess title.


In the final round of the tournament, Praggnanand performed brilliantly against Grandmaster Vincent Keimer of Germany.
