A very shocking and frightening news has emerged from Kerala regarding the country’s security. A recent media report has made a big claim that about 10,000 Bangladeshi citizens are living as ‘migrant labourers’ in different parts of Kerala with the help of fake identity documents.

This large and dangerous illegal network was exposed when the local police detained 10 Bangladeshi nationals in Kottarakkara area of Kollam district. Investigation revealed that many Bangladeshi citizens are living illegally in the state and that too just like ordinary Indian citizens. The most surprising aspect of this entire revelation is that these people have got their fake Indian identity cards prepared in the greed of a few rupees.

This is a vicious method of infiltration and fake identity.

According to security and investigators, this entire infiltration sequence usually starts from the India-Bangladesh border. These people first secretly reach the border areas like Murshidabad of West Bengal and with the help of local fraudsters there, they get the initial fake documents made.

After this, they move to other parts of the country, especially Kerala, in search of better work and higher earnings. After reaching Kerala posing as genuine migrant laborers from West Bengal, these people cleverly use the local addresses there and settle down here, adopting a completely Indian identity.

Very important documents are being prepared for just Rs 700

According to a shocking report by the English news website ‘Mathrubhoomi’, these Bangladeshi citizens in Kerala are getting easily access to very important government documents like identity card and ration card by paying a nominal amount of just Rs 700. With the help of these forged and fake documents, they are proudly calling themselves Indians and are living comfortably without any fear.

Bangalore’s underground mafia and the web of ‘chain migration’

Kerala Police has a strong suspicion that a huge underground mafia network operating from Bengaluru is behind the preparation of these fake documents. These fake documents are so technically accurate that it is very difficult for anyone to differentiate between real and fake at first glance.

These people caught in Kottarakkara were living happily in Kerala for the last several years. Only when the police searched his mobile phones on suspicion and found digital copies of Bangladeshi passports in them, his horrifying reality and his true nationality were exposed.

In this in-depth investigation, a big and scary revelation of ‘chain migration’ has also come to light, in which people who came illegally years ago are now calling their relatives and settling here. One of the biggest examples of this is a woman named Mughal Khatoon. This woman came to Kerala via West Bengal about 13 years ago. He came here and obtained all the Indian identity cards fraudulently in the name of “Mamadas” and later settled many of his relatives in Kerala. According to reports, just two months before her arrest, she had even returned to Bangladesh with her two children, using her Bangladeshi passport recklessly.

Serious threat to national security

All the central and state intelligence agencies are seeing this entire situation as a big threat to the security of the country. The administration is now deeply investigating whether people with criminal background or those suspected to be involved in anti-national activities are hiding in the country by using these fake documents.

Although the difference between genuine workers from West Bengal and Bangladeshis can be easily made on the basis of linguistic differences and tone of conversation, but due to fear and intimidation, the local people hesitate in sharing any information with the police. Now due to intensification of investigation and increase in police strictness, there is panic in the entire state and many Bangladeshis are now preparing to leave Kerala and run away. This is the reason why a huge decline in the number of migrant laborers has been seen in many areas in the last few days.
