New Delhi. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, which everyone is shocked to hear. Here a woman strangled her 21-day-old innocent granddaughter to death. Actually, the woman wanted her daughter-in-law to have a son but she got a daughter. The grandmother, who was expecting the birth of a grandson, was not happy with the birth of her granddaughter and that is why she committed this crime. The woman strangled the girl at night and went to sleep quietly. When the girl’s mother woke up in the morning and did not see any movement in the girl’s body, the girl’s death came to light.

Although the family members were considering the girl’s death as normal, the post mortem report revealed the reason for the girl’s death. After this, when the police interrogated the woman strictly, she broke down and confessed to her crime. The police have arrested the woman. The woman who murdered her granddaughter told that she wanted a grandson but the granddaughter was born. One night, when the child was sleeping next to her mother, he silently picked her up, took her a short distance away and strangulated her. After she stopped breathing, she laid the girl back near her mother so that no one could suspect anything.

Tikamgarh Additional Superintendent of Police Vikram Singh Kushwaha said that the police had received information about the death of a newborn girl in Banne Buduj village of Palera police station area. After reaching the spot, the police sent the body of the girl for post-mortem. After the post mortem report confirmed the murder, the police registered an FIR and started investigation, after which the entire episode came out in the open.
