Health Desk. Nowadays, due to changing lifestyle, unbalanced diet and lack of physical activities, the problem of fatty liver is increasing rapidly. In this condition, excessive fat starts accumulating in the liver cells. Its symptoms are often not obvious in the initial stages, but over time this problem can become serious and cause complications like inflammation, fibrosis or cirrhosis of the liver.

1. Constant fatigue and weakness

If you feel tired all the time or lack energy in the body even after taking adequate rest, then it can be an early sign of fatty liver. If the liver does not function properly, the body’s energy production process can be affected.

2. Pain in the right upper part of the stomach

The liver is located in the right upper part of the stomach. If there is a persistent feeling of mild pain, pressure or heaviness in this area, it may be a sign of fat accumulation in the liver. If such symptoms persist, medical examination should be done.

3. Accumulation of fat around the stomach

Fatty liver is often associated with obesity and increased fat around the abdomen. If weight is increasing rapidly without any apparent reason or waist circumference has started increasing, then it should be taken seriously.

4. Loss of appetite and digestive problems

Frequent indigestion, bloating, nausea, loss of appetite or feeling uncomfortable after eating can also be associated with fatty liver. However, these symptoms can also occur in other diseases, so it is important to consult a doctor if they persist.

5. Yellowing of skin and eyes

If the disease progresses, yellowness (jaundice) may appear in the skin and eyes. This sign indicates that liver function is being affected and requires immediate medical attention.
