The government has announced compensation to the victim's family and a government job to one member. Sharing the information on the social media platform 'X', the Chief Minister said that on the basis of the interim report of the Judicial Inquiry Commission, financial assistance will be provided to the family of late Bharat Tiwari and one of his relatives will be given a government job.

It is noteworthy that just a few days ago, Bharat Tiwari's family had reached Patna and met the Chief Minister and pleaded for justice. After that meeting, now the Chief Minister has talked about relief and help for the family.

Bharat Tiwari was encountered by the police on 17 June 2026 in Biloti village located in Shahpur police station area of ​​Bhojpur district. Initially the police had claimed that Bharat Tiwari was waving a pistol and threatening the police, but despite surrendering his weapons, he was encountered.
