Tezzbuzz Desk- BJP national president Nitin Nabin has announced his new team after about seven months. Many old faces have been retained in the new team, while some leaders have been given important responsibilities. Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has been made the national vice president. At the same time, former Union Minister Smriti Irani has returned to the party organization as General Secretary.
A total of eight national general secretaries have been made in Nitin Nabin's new team. BL Santosh will remain on the post of Organization General Secretary as before. Anil Baluni has also been retained as media in-charge.
One of the most important changes in the BJP organization has taken place regarding the IT cell. Amit Malviya, who has been heading BJP's IT cell for a long time, has not got a place in the new team. In his place, Deepak Mahaske has been appointed social media in-charge.
Apart from this, Union Minister Piyush Goyal has got a big responsibility in the party organization. He has been made the National Treasurer in place of Rajesh Aggarwal. Rajesh Mangal has been given the responsibility of co-treasurer. Whereas Tarun Chugh has been appointed in-charge of the headquarters. Former Madhya Pradesh BJP president VD Sharma has been made the coordinator of all the units. 10 women have also been included in the new team.
Apart from Vasundhara Raje, Ram Madhav, Tirath Singh Rawat, Baijayant Jai Panda, Rekha Verma, D. Purandeshwari, Bharti Pawar, Manpreet Badal, V. Narendra Bhai Doshi, Lal Singh Arya, M. Nagraj, Tariq Mansoor and Madhuchandra Kar have been made national vice presidents in the new team of BJP.
Sunil Bansal, Vinod Tawde, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia have been given the responsibility for the post of National General Secretary.
The new team includes Kavita Patidar, K. as national secretaries. Surendran, Bhola Singh, Pradeep Verma, Jagdish Patel, Sandeep Pathak, Fengnon Konyak, Sangeeta Yadav, Anil Antony, M. Venkatesan, Manoj Tigga, Siddharth Shambhu, Swadesh Singh, Mriganka Deb Varman, Rohan Gupta and Jai Prakash have been included.
BL Santosh will hold the post of Organization General Secretary and Saudan Singh and Shivprakash will take charge as Co-Organization General Secretaries.
Some old leaders have not found a place in the new team. Arun Singh, Dushyant Gautam, Tarun Chugh and Radhamohan Das Agarwal, who were national general secretaries in JP Nadda's team, have been left out of the new team. Arvind Menon, Pankaja Munde, Narendra Singh, Alka Gurjar, Omprakash Dhurve, Rituraj Sinha, Kamakhya Prasad Tasha and Surendra Nagar, who held the post of National Secretary, have also not been included in the new team.
Apart from this, Saroj Pandey, DK Aruna, M. Chuba Rao and Abdullah Kutty, who were national vice presidents in Nadda's team, are also not part of the new team. In the new BJP team, an attempt is being seen to strike a balance between experience and new faces.
