Sri Lanka vs India 1st Test: The first test match between India and Sri Lanka is being played in Galle. In which Team India appears to be in a very strong position. On the fourth day of the first Test, Pant completed his 100 sixes in Test cricket by hitting a brilliant six off Lahiru Kumara. With this, he has become the first Indian batsman to touch the figure of century sixes in Test cricket. Pant not only completed 100 Test sixes, but also made a new record in his name for reaching this milestone fastest. He achieved this feat in only 51 test matches. Pant is now the first batsman in the 149-year history of Test cricket to complete 100 sixes in less than 80 matches.
Rishabh Pant has now become the first batsman from India and the fourth in the world to hit 100 sixes in Test cricket. Former England captain Ben Stokes tops this list. He has 138 test sixes in his name. Former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum is at second place with 107 sixes and Australia’s great wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist is at third place with 100 sixes.
Rishabh Pant achieved the figure of 100 sixes in his 51st Test match. This is the fastest for any batsman to reach this feat. Earlier this record was in the name of Ben Stokes. The England all-rounder had completed 100 sixes in his 82nd Test. Pant achieved this position by playing 31 tests less than Stokes. Before the start of the match against Sri Lanka, Rishabh Pant had 97 sixes in his name in Test cricket.

Pant played a very explosive innings in the second innings. On the fourth day of the match, Pant was out after scoring 66 runs in 69 balls. During this, he hit 8 fours and 2 sixes with his bat. In which his strike rate was 95.65. Pant had scored 39 runs in the first innings.
