Actor Chandrachud Singh has filed an FIR against his relatives for alleged tampering with his grandfather’s will. According to the complaint, his late father was deprived of inheritance rights to the property through a fake will.


What allegations did the actor make?


According to PTI report, in the complaint lodged at Rorawar police station on Friday, actor Chandrachud Singh claimed that the signature of his grandfather Thakur Harendra Pal Singh was forged in 1997. A prominent landlord of Jalalpur on the outskirts of Aligarh, the late grandfather was seriously ill at the time and was reportedly unable to sign documents.


Actor’s father was evicted from the will


The actor further alleged that his uncle Ganga Singh, along with other family members, had conspired to defraud his father Captain Baldev Singh to deprive him of his fair share in the property.


The actor has connections with the royal family


The social history of actor Chandrachud Singh’s family is linked to public service and royal lineage. Let us tell you that his father, Baldev Singh, has been an MLA from Khair in Uttar Pradesh. His mother, Krishna Kumari Devi, is the daughter of the Maharaja of Bolangir, Odisha. This inheritance has given a special identity to the family and its properties.


Chandrachur Singh’s film career


Chandrachud Singh entered Hindi cinema in the year 1996 with the film ‘Tere Mere Sapne’. In the same year, she acted brilliantly with Tabu in Gulzar’s famous film ‘Maachis’. He was awarded the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for this film. After a great start, he played lead roles in films like ‘Betaabi’, ‘Dil Kya Kare’ and ‘Silsila Hai Pyar Ka’, but most of these films could not do well at the box office.
